Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) made an announcement to inform the public that

one of the biggest music festivals in Asia is returning to Pattaya after missing last year. The Pattaya International Music Festival 2009 is scheduled for March 20th thru 22nd, 2009 at the beach locations under the banner headline of “Amazing Thailand Amazing Value”, with hope that it will stimulate tourism and generate income for business owners and vendors in Pattaya. The event features famous artists from throughout the Asia continent such as S.M. Entertainment, EEG from Hong Kong, Ocean Butterfly from China, House of Indies from Vietnam, Hala Music from Malaysia, AMJPHEAD from Australia, Indies Record from Laos, Avex from Taiwan, and many more.

The event will take place on 3 main stages, one at Bali Hai pier, one at Central Pattaya and another one at soi 4 on beach road. Famous Thai singers and bands will also be performing including, Big Ass, Body Slam, AB Normal, Potato, Taxi, Paradox, No logo, Mint, Toffee, etc.
